• Christian Spiritual Life

  This course begins with what God has done for us: hope truth, love, and abundance.  This leads to:

  Our Goals:  To be able to be loved, totally loved, as never before, and even in the midst of impossible circumstances.

  The course then contrast what happens when we try to live our lives in our own strength and power.

  The course continues to show us God's way, His hope.  There is a great conflict within ourselves between our flesh and the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is God's gift to us so that we don't have to live a defeated life in our flesh.

  There are practical ways presented in the course to live by the Holy Spirit.  Problems to life in the Holy Spirit is described as greiving and quenching the Holy Spirit, legalism is explained, and prayer is shown as our source of power for the Christian Spiritual LIfe.

  God is holy, and we are not holy.

  God shows us what holiness really is like.  That is our standard of living as Christian.  This is impossible for us.  But what is impossible for us is possible for God.

  The course expalins Walking in the Spirit, true Worship, and Prayer.  Some personal desciplines are explained as helps to walking in the Spirit.  A life of prayer is seen as a life in perfect union with God.  And obstacles to a life of prayer and walking in the Spirit are outlined.

  The conclusion is a study guide for the course and an introduction to a "Dunamis" retreat weekend.
