        Here are some passages from the Bible that will help you study God's message about how we can live in Christ.

     Romans 3:23,  Romans 5:2,  2 Thessalonians 2:16  Gives us a good idea of our relationship with God - both before His grace, and after.  What do you think was your relationship with God before He stepped in to your life, and later?

     Romans 5:20 - 6:23   This passage from the Bible gives us God's good news to us about His power to live.  Where do we get the power to live as Christians in this world?

     Galatians 1:15, 1 Corinthians 15:10, Ephesians 2: 8 - 10,  1 Corinthians 15:10   These are valuable passage form the Bible where God tells us how God's power and grace works in our lives.  How do you think God enables us to live?

     Ephesians 2: 1-3  Describes what we were before we became believers.  What were you before you became a Christian?

     Romans 5:20 - 6: 1 - 4  Explains about how we can live with God's power.  Do we have to continue to sin?

     Romans 6: 8 - 10  This passage presents the impact of Christ's resurrection on us.  How can we live in Christ's resurrection day-by-day?

     Romans 6: 11 - 13  Here God tells us how to fight against sin, and live in righteousness in this world.

     Romans 7: 1 - 6  Here God is showing us how to live in union with Christ.  How does union with Christ help us bear fruit?

     Romans 7: 7 - 12  hat happens when we try to live our Christian life separate from Christ's power?  How does our weakness defeat our good intentions?

     Romans 7: 13 - 25  How can a Christian still be sold into bondage to sin?  What does Paul mean by our "flesh?"

     John 7: 37 - 39,  Romans 5:5,  Romans 8:9 - 11,  1 Corinthians 2: 12,  1 Corinthians 6: 19 - 20,  2 Corinthians 5: 5, Galatians 4:6,  1 John 3:24,  John 4:14.  What is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit?

     Acts 2:4,  Acts 4:8, Acts 7:55,  Acts 9:17.  Acts 11:24,  Acts 13:9  Who is responsible for the filling of the Holy Spirit?  What are the results of the filling of the Holy Spirit?

     Galatians 5:16  What does it mean to walk by the Holy Spirit?

     Ephesians 4:30  How do we grieve the Holy Spirit?

     1 Thessalonians 5:  19 - 20  How do we quench the Holy Spirit?

     Romans 12: 1 - 8  What is our logical and reasonable worship?  What does God do for us when we yield or present ourselves to Him?

     Philippians  3: 4 - 6  What is the result of trusting in our own abilities and works?

     In Romans 12: 1,2 Paul is writing about a metamorphosis.  The Greek word for transformed means metamorphosis.  It is what happens to a caterpillar when it turns into a butterfly.  It becomes a completely different creature.  Once it crawled on the ground, and now it flies.  This is like our Christian life.  A Christian should be transformed by God's power.  We should not live like a caterpillar anymore.
