Hope and Freedom - Romans 6

An introduction

            This topic contrasts what we were in Adam with what we are now in Christ.  We all life, breathe, and think in in either one or the other..  When walk with Christ we life with everything in Christ.  For example, His death, His victory over sin, His resurrection, the fruit of His resurrection, etc.  This is much different from the person who we used to be. 

              Throughout history, around the world, people like you have been searching, seeking something that they long for.  Longing for a life that is different.  Life is too empty, too heartless, too meaningless. Throughout history, and around the world,  people like you have found something, something that ends that journey of longing.  They have found truth, love, and a life that is outside of themselves.  Yet available to them all.

      They found hope, truth, love, abundance. 

             They are truly satisfied.  They join a large and growing community of people who know life like others cannot.  They join a community that extends back through history with a record of God’s revealing Himself in love to them.  They belong to the exciting and the best of history.  They are the best of the present.  They have a hope forever.  They belong to the promises of God.  They have hope and truth and love.  Now, and forever.

            This is what God has done for them.  He longs to do it for you   also.

        He has enabled these people to love, and to be loved as never before.

        They know that they have problems, flaws, inadequacies.  Yet they still have hope, love, abundance and security. They can know and experience love, supernatural love, right now in this world.

        If you have interest in this kind of life.  Then you can go a little further.  You can learn, and decide for yourself.  You see you need to know before you can live.  God’s truth precedes your changed life.  Because God has already acted.  We can live.  Come, and see for yourself.

        We all have needs -  We have the need to know that there is hope, and love available to us all. 

      Our Goals:  To be able to be loved, totally loved, as never before, and even in the midst of impossible circumstances.

      Today we can see different groups of people in the world: East and West, rich and poor, educated and uneducated. We see different groups everywhere.  These are groups that divide us.  There is one division though that will last forever.  It will divide husbands and wives, parents and children, churches, everyone into two groups forever.
